Shri Bhaskarrao Patil Khatgaonkar, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Nanded flagged off the newly introduced Train No. 12421 / 12422 Hazur Sahib Nanded - Amritsar – Hazur Sahib Nanded Weekly Super Fast Express today i.e., 15th May, 2013 at a glittering function held at H S Nanded Railway Station. Shri Om Prakash Pokarna, Hon’ble MLA, South Nanded, Shri Abdul Sattar, Hon’ble Mayor, Nanded, Shri Dilip Patil Betmogrekar, Hon’ble President, Zilla Parishad, Shri Anand Chavan, Hon’ble Dy.Mayor, Nanded, Shri Kulwanth Singhji, Jatthedar of Takht H S Nanded and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Hon’ble Member of Parliament Shri Bhaskarrao Patil Khatgaonkar complemented the efforts of Railway officials in introducing the Weekly Superfast Express Train. He also said that new train will immensely benefit the people of Maharatwad Region. He also added that several new trains were introduced connecting important pilgrimage places to Nanded. Earlier, Shri Sunil Singh Soin, Divisional Railway Manager, Nanded Division South Central Railway welcomed the gathering.
Train No.12421 H.S. Nanded-Amritsar weekly Super Fast Express will depart H.S. Nanded 11 00 hrs on Wednesdays and arrive Amritsar at 22 00 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 12422 Amritsar-H.S.Nanded weekly Super Fast Express will depart Amritsar on Mondays at 14 30 hrs and will arrive H.S. Nanded at 23 45 hrs on the next day.
H S Nanded – Amritsar Weekly Super Fast Express Train will stop at Purna, Hingoli, Washim, Akola, Malkapur, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra Cant, New Delhi, Rohatak, Jakhal, Sangrur, Dhuri, Ludiana, Phagwara, Jalandhar city and Beas stations in both the directions. The Train will have one AC II tier, one AC III tier, Six Sleeper Class, Six General Second Class and Two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to Sixteen Coaches
