To carry out maintenance work of track, signaling & overhead equipments, five hours jumbo block will be taken between Mahalakshmi and Santacruz stations from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday i.e 26th May, 2013 on Down local i.e slow lines.
During the block period, all Down slow line trains will run on Down fast lines between Mumbai Central and Santacruz stations. These diverted trains will not halt at Mahalakshmi, Elphinstone Road and Matunga Road for want of platform, hence passengers can travel in opposite direction for their destinations between Bandra and Mumbai Central stations. All 12 car slow services will take double halt at Lower Parel, Mahim Jn & Khar Road. Due to the bock, some Up & Down local trains will remain cancelled.
