NEW MILESTONES ON PRODUCTIVITY AND OUTTURN OF ECoR WORKSHOP


The Carriage Repair Workshop (CRW) at Mancheswar of East Coast Railway, o­ne of the most modern coach repairing workshop of Indian Railways has achieved the highest ever records in many fields during the month of April 2013 and has improved its performance in every level including number of coaches handled for quick disposal.

During the month, the Workshop achieved highest ever physical outturn of 134 coaches including 26 AC Coaches compared to any months. During the time, highest ever bogie out turn of 200 bogie sets have also done during the period.

The Wheel Shop of the Workshop has produced 902 Wheels during the month which is again a highest ever outturn. Similarly, outturn of 16 coaches by Corrosion Shop has also made history by producing highest ever corrosion coaches.

All the Shops of the Carriage Repair Workshop of East Coast Railway have not o­nly achieved peak productivity of 70% incentive Level but has surpassed the record of January and February 2011.

Shri S. K. Pankaj, Chief Workshop Manager, Carriage Repair Workshop/Mancheswar praised the employees for their outstanding performance and urged to continue their efforts to meet the challenges in every field with all dedication for still better performance in future.
