MEGA BLOCK on 12.5.2013
Central Railway will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday 12.5.2013: -
ON UP SLOW LINE BETWEEN KALYAN TO THANE STATIONS
FROM 11.00 AM TO 4.00 PM
Up Slow/Semi fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.34 am to 3.54 pm will be diverted on Up fast line between Kalyan and Mulund stations halting at Dombivli and Thane.
Up slow line services will not be available at Thakurli, Kopar, Diva, Mumbra and Kalva stations during the block period. However passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Dombivli/Thane in Dn direction.
All slow line services arriving / leaving CST during the block period will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
In addition to their respective scheduled halts Dn fast line services will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Up fast line services will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm and will arrive their destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
ON DN HARBOUR LINE BETWEEN CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI TERMINUS AND KURLA &
ON UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES BETWEEN VADALA ROAD AND BANDRA STATIONS
FROM 11.10 AM TO 3.10 PM.
Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.48 am to 3.33 pm and Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Bandra /Andheri from 10.40 am to 4.13 pm will remain suspended.
All Dn Harbour line services for Panvel / Belapur / Vashi leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.52 am to 3.13 pm will run via Main line between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Kurla. These trains will not halt at Chinchpokli and Currey Road stations.
Dn Harbour line services will not available between Dockyard Road and Chunabhatti stations during the block period.
All Harbour line services leaving / arrving CSTM from 11.00 am to 4.30 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
Harbour line passengers for Bandra/ Andheri are permitted to travel Via Main line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm on 12.5.2013.
Due to these blocks, suburban locals will be running behind schedule. As a result of this, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains.
