ATVMs launch today

Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVM), put up at Visakhapatnam Railway Station, will start functioning from Tuesday.The Smart Cards, required to obtain tickets through the machine, can be obtained from the Chief Booking Supervisor. Each Smart Card is of the value Rs.100 (Rs. 50 for security deposit and Rs. 50 for initial journey). These machines will be helpful for the customers for purchasing ‘unreserved tickets' (general tickets) and platform tickets on their own. Monthly Season Tickets (MST) can also be renewed through the Smart Cards. Smart Cards, valid for six months, can be renewed.Detail guidelines are available with the Chief Booking Supervisor.
