In order to make it more convenient for passengers , the Railways has opened up a reservation counter at Indira Bhawan . Lucknow division of Northern Railway inaugurated the counter on Wednesday .
The Public Reservation System (PRS ) will help passengers reserve tickets for trains they wish to board .
"This has been done to help passengers , to provide more counters to them ," said senior DCM, NR, Lucknow Neeraj Sharma .
This is the eighth counter which has been opened up in thecity , apartfrom thePRS at Charbagh station . Passengers who have to wait in the long queue at Charbagh to book a ticket can get it done easily at the new counter .
It will be open for reservation from 8 am to 8 pm. To ensure that passengers don't roam around looking for a counter , it has been opened close to the entrance of the building .
