In addition to 58 Summer Special Trains already announced on Konkan Railway Route recently , Konkan Railway, in co-ordination with Southern Railway , has now introduced the following 20 additional Summer Special Trains between Chennai Central – Madgaon - Chennai Central for the convenience of its most valuable and esteemed passengers. Halts at:The trains will halt at Perambur, Arakkonam, Katpadi, Gudiyattam, Ambur, Jolarprttai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatare, Podanur, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kuttipuram, tirur, kozhikkode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad, Kasargod, Mangalore Jn, Thokur, Suratkal, Udupi, Kundapur, mookambika rd Byndoor, Bhatkal, Murdeshwar, Kumat & Karwar station. The train will have 18 coaches with Composition of Nine Sleeper Coaches, Two AC III Tier, One AC II Tier, Four General & One SLR Coach.
