M. SATHEESH TAKES OVER AS PRINCIPAL CHIEF ENGINEER, SOUTHERN RAILWAY

Shri M. Satheesh has taken over as the Principal Chief Engineer of Southern Railway.He hails from Thoppil Matom, Kayankulam.He has graduated from College of Engineering/Thiruvananthapuram and belongs to the 1979 batch of Indian Railway Service of Engineers.He has worked in various capacities including Joint Director in the research wing of the Indian Railways at Lucknow, Additional Divisional Railway Manager at Thiruvananthapuram, Chief Engineer/Construction at Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram & Chennai and Chief Planning & Development Engineer of Southern Railway at Chennai.He was also deputed to South Africa for a study on Heavy Haul Freight Operations.
