Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway bagged the General Manager’s Overall Efficiency Shield for its best performance among six Dvisions of South Central Railway during the financial year 2011-12.
Shri G. N. Asthana, General Manager, South Central Railway, presented the “General Manager’s Overall Efficiency Shield”to Shri Sanjeve Roy, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division at the 57th Railway Week Celebrations held today (12th April, 2012) at Rail Kalarang, Bhoiguda, Secunderabad. He also distributed the individual cash awards with Merit Certificates to 187 meritorious Officers / Staff who were selected for the Zonal level Railway Week Award.
Shri Mahesh Chandra, Addl. General Manager & Controller of Stores, Shri Swaminathan, Sr. Deputy General Manager, Divisional Railway Managers from all 6 Six Divisions, Chief Workshop Managers from all the four Workshops in South Central Railway, other senior officers and staff were present at theRailway Week function.
The General Manager also gave away the performance Efficiency Shields to Divisions / Workshops in recognition of best performance in various disciplines.Secunderabad Division bagged the Efficiency Shields for Ticket Checking, Parcel Performance, Marketing commercial and Operations.
Shri G.N. Asthana, while addressing the gathering, congratulated the award winners and expressed confidence that the recipients of awardsand other meritorious staff would form nucleus ofmany centers of excellence in their area of work to proper SouthCentral Railway to scale greater heights.
