Garib Rath special, weekly specials to be operated
Southern Railway will run special trains from Chennai Central to Nagercoil and Tirunelveli.
A statement said Chennai Central–Nagercoil–Chennai Central Garib Rath specials (via. Erode, Karur):
Train No.06019 Chennai Central–Nagercoil Garib Rath special would leave Chennai Central at 11.30 p.m. on April 4 and arrive Nagercoil at 2 p.m. the next day.
Train No.06020 Nagercoil–Chennai Central Garib Rath special would leave Nagercoil at 7.40 p.m. on April 5 and arrive Chennai Central at 10.20 a.m. the next day.
The composition of the trains will be 14 AC 3-tier coaches. The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpet, Salem, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Tirunelveli and Valliyur. Train No. 06020 would stop at Perambur also.
Chennai Central–Tirunelveli–Chennai Central Superfast Weekly specials (via. Erode, Karur):
Train No. 06021 Chennai Central–Tirunelveli Superfast special would leave Chennai Central at 10.30 p.m. on April 5 and 12 and arrive Tirunelveli at 12.15 p.m. the next day.
Train No. 06022 Tirunelveli–Chennai Central Superfast Weekly special would leave Tirunelveli at 3.10 p.m. on April 6 and 13 and arrive Chennai Central at 3.45 a.m. the next day.
The composition of the trains would be three AC 2-tier, three AC 3-tier, 12 sleeper class, two general second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
The trains would stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpet, Salem, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti and Vanchi Maniyachchi. Train No.06022 would stop at Perambur also
