As announced in the Railway Budget:2012-13, the travel distance under“IZZAT” Monthly Season Ticket Scheme is increased from 100 Km to 150 Km with effect from 1st June, 2012. The increase in travel distancewill be admissible on tickets purchased on and after 1st June, 2012. In case of tickets issued before 1stJune 2012,the increase in travel distance will not be admissible.Indian Railways introduced the concessional monthly season ticket scheme called IZZAT in August 2009. The cost of the Monthly IZZAT Season Ticket is Rs 25/- inclusive of all surcharges and issued to persons working in unorganized sectors with monthly income notexceeding Rs 1500/-
