As announced in the Railway Budget 2012-13, the travel distance under “IZZAT” Monthly Season Ticket Scheme is increased from 100 kms. to 150 kms. with effectfrom 1st June, 2012. The increase in travel distance will be admissible on tickets purchased on and after 1st June, 2012. In case of tickets issued before 1st June 2012, the increase in travel distance will not be admissible.
Indian Railways introduced the concessional monthly season ticket scheme called IZZAT in August 2009. The cost of the Monthly IZZAT Season Ticket is `25/- inclusive of all surcharges and issued to persons working in unorganized sectors with monthly income not exceeding `1500/- .
There will be no change in other terms and conditions.
