The Bhubaneswar-Tirupati new weekly super fast express train flagged off at Bhubaneswar Railway station today by Dr.(Prof) Prasanna Kumar Patasani, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Shri Pyarimohan Mohapatra, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Shri Baishnab Parida, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) in presence of Shri S.K.Mohanty, Divisional Railway Manager, Khurda Road Division.
Bhubaneswar-Tirupati new Weekly super fast Train will help the people of Odisha to visit Tirupati. 22871 Bhubaneswar-Tirupathi weekly super fast express will leave Bhubaneswarat 12.00hrs on every Saturday w.e.f. 14th July 2012 and will arrive at Tirupathi at 08.25hrs on the next days. In the return direction, 22872 Tirupathi-Bhubaneswar weekly Superfast Express will leave Tirupathi at 13.00hrs on every Sunday w.e.f. 15th July 2012 and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 10.10hrs on the following days.
This train has one AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tier, Eight Sleeper Class, Three General Second Classand Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Chhatrapur, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Elluru, Vijaywada, ongole, Nellore and Guddur between Bhubaneswar and Tirupathi.
