As announced in last Railway Budget for running of a weekly super fast train between Puri & Yesvantpur (Bengaluru) and to provide better facilities to the commuters, Railways have decided to introduce a new train w.e.f. from 20th July 2012.
On the inaugural run, i.e. on 20thJuly 2012 Puri-Yesvantpur weekly super fast express will be inaugurated from Puri Station.
22883 Puri-Yesvantpur weekly Garib Rath Express will leave Puri at 14.45hrson every Friday w.e.f. 20th July 2012 and will arrive at Yesvantpur at 20.00hrs on the next days. In the return direction, 22884 Yesvantpur-Puri weekly Garib Rath Express will leave Yesvantpur at 22.40hrson every Saturday w.e.f. 21st July 2012 and will arrive at Puri at 05.55hrs on every Monday.
This train has 15 Garib Rath AC-3 tier coaches and two Break Generator Car with disabled friendly compartments in its composition having stoppages at Khurda Road, Chhatrapur, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Ankapalle, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Elluru, Vijaywada, Guntur, Narasaraopet, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Nandayal, Dhone, Anantapur, Daramavaram, Hindupur and Yelahanka between Puri and Yesvantpur.
