rain services in East Coast Railway jurisdiction were disrupted due to Bharat Bandh today. As a result, some trains were controlledenroute and some have been cancelled and short terminated. The demonstration in different stations on Howrah-Chennai main line was called off at 11.45hrsand train movements were normalised except Talcher.
REGULATION OF TRAINS:
Mail/Express trains were controlled enroute at different stations like Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Balugaon, Bhadrak, Angul, Paradeep, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Puri, Koraput from the early morning till the agitation were called off before noon at most of the places.

12278/12277 Puri-Howrah-Puri Duronto Express,18411/18412 Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express, 12074/12073Bhubaneswar-Howrah-Bhubaneswar Jan Shatabdi Express, 18414/18413 Puri-Paradeep-Puri Inter City Express, 18416 Puri-Barbil Inter City Express and 12892 Bhubaneswar-Bangiriposi Express trains were cancelled today from both the directions.
Similarly, 58415/58416 Cuttack-Puri-Cuttack Passenger, 58435/58436/58423/58424Bhadrak-Cuttack-Bhadrak Passenger. 58401/58402/78507/78508/58405/58406Cuttack-Paradeep-Cuttack Passenger58407/58408/58409/58410 Khurda Road-Puri-Khurda Road Passenger, 58421/58422 Angul-Puri-Angul Passenger, 58433/58434/78502/78501Brahmapur-Cuttack-Brahmapur Passenger, 78407/78408Bhadrak-Bhubaneswar-Bhadrak Passenger, 78411/78412Bhubaneswar-Khalikote-Bhubaneswar Passenger, 78419/78420 Bhubaneswar-Palasa-Bhubaneswar Passenger, 58425/58426Keonjhar-Bhubaneswar-Keonjhar Passenger, 58417/58418Puri-Palasa-Puri passenger, 58413/58414Talcher-Puri-Talcher passengerand 58006Khurda Road-Kharagpur passenger trains have been cancelled.
SHORT-TERMINATION:
18303 Sambalpur-Puri Inter City Express will be short terminated at Khurda Road and will return back as 18304 Puri-Sambalpur Inter City Express from Khurda Road to Sambalpur. This train will remain cancelled between Khurda Road & Puri from both the direction.
18105 Rourkela-Bhubaneswar Inter CityExpress will be short terminated at Angul and will return back as 18106 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Inter City Express from Angul to Rourkela. This train will remain cancelled between Angul and Bhubaneswar from both the direction.
78502 Palasa-Cuttack passenger will be short terminate at Brahmapur and will return back as 78501 Cuttack-Palasa passenger from Brahmapur and will remain cancelled between Cuttack & Brahmapur from both the direction.
78420 Palasa-Bhubaneswar passenger will be short terminate at Ichhapuram and will return back to Palasa and will remain cancelled between Ichhapuram and Bhubaneswar from both the direction.
58418 Gunupur-Puri passenger will be short terminate at Palasa and will return back to Gunupur and will remain cancelled between Palasa and Puri from both the direction.
58132 Puri-Rourkela passenger will be short terminate at Angul and will return back to Puri. This train will remain cancelled between Angul and Rourkela from both the direction.
12891 Bangiriposi-Bhubaneswar Express, 18415 Barbil-Puri Express and 58005 Kharagpur-Khurda Road passenger will be short terminated in the way and will remain cancelled upto their destinations from both the direction.
