As a treat to railway buffs, Southern Railway has placed for sale its railway heritage publication titled “Marvels of the South Indian Railway” at Velankanni here.
According to a Southern Railways release, the publication is available for sale at Velankanni Railway ticket booking office during the Velankanni festival.
The book has hosts multi colour printing and over 300 rare photographs.
It chalks out the origin and development of the railways and its system in South India.
The book published by the Railway Heritage Centre, Tiruchchirappalli Division of Southern Railway has been priced at Rs.675.
