Railways plans to introduce a new tri-weekly superfast express train between Solapur-Yesvantpur-Solapur (Train numbers 22133/22134). The inaugural run from Solapur to Yesvantpur was flagged off at Solapur Railway Station on Sunday.
According to a South Western Railway release, the regular service will commence from Yesvantpur-end from September 11 (Tuesday) and from Solapur-end from September 12 (Wednesday).
Accordingly, Train No 22134 Yesvantpur-Solapur express will depart from Yesvantpur station on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 8.50 pm and arrive at Solapur at 8.40 am on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
En route, the train will arrive/depart at Yelhanka at 9.08/9.10 pm; Dharmavaram at 9.40/9.45 pm; depart at Anantapur at 12.20 am; arrive/depart at Guntakal Jn. at 1.40/1.45 am; depart at Adoni at 2.30 am; Mantralayam Road at 3.05 am; Raichur at 3.40 am; Wadi at 5.45/5.50 am.
In the return direction, Train No 22133 Solapur-Yesvantpur express will depart from Solapur station on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.20 pm and arrive at Yesvantpur at 7.10 am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
En route, the express will arrive/depart at Wadi at 10.00/10.10 pm; depart at Raichur at 10.32 pm; Mantralayam Road at 11.59 pm; Adoni at 12.40 am; arrive/depart at Guntakal Jn. At 1.40/1.50 am; depart at Anantapur at 3.05 am; arrive/depart at Dharmavaram at 4.00/4.05 am; and arrive/depart at Yelhanka at 6.36/6.38 am.
The express will have total 17 coaches, comprising one AC 2-tier coach, one AC 3-tier coach, seven second class sleepers, six general second class coaches and two second cass luggage-cum-disabled coach.
