Metro train services on diwali and bhai duj day


On account of the Diwali festival the last Metro train service on 13th November 2012 (Tuesday), will start at 8:00 PM (2000 Hrs) from terminal stations of all the six lines (Dilshad Garden, Rithala, Jahangir Puri, Huda City Centre, Noida City Centre, Dwarka Sector-21, Yamuna Bank, Vaishali, Inderlok, Mundka, Central Secretariat and Badarpur Metro stations). Metro train services will run as usual for rest of the day on Diwali from 06:00 am onwards.

BHAI DUJ (15.11.2012)

In view of the expected rise in the number of commuters using the Delhi Metro on Thursday which is ‘Bhai Duj’ (15th November 2012), Metro trains will be run at peak-hour frequency from 8:00 AM to 9.00 PM on Thursday, performing over 200 extra train trips. DMRC will also deploy more Customer Facilitation Agents to help and guide commuters on 15th November 2012 at busy Metro stations and will also operate additional ticket counters, if required, to handle the increased load on the ticketing system Metro train services on Bhai Duj will be available from 6.00 AM to 11.00 PM as usual.
