In view to avoid rush in regular trains and to provide comfort journey to the passengers, Ministry of Railways have decided to run winter special trains through East Coast Railway jurisdiction.
08041/08042Santragachhi (Howrah)-Chennai-Santragachhi Express will leave from Santragachhi at 12.30hrs on every Sundays between 2ndDecember to 30th December 2012 and will arrive at Chennai at 17.00hrs on the following days. In the return direction, this train will leave Chennai at 11.00hrs on every Tuesdays between 4th December 2012 to 1stJanuary 2013 and will arrive at Santragachhi at 14.15hrs on the following days.
This train will stop at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Bijayawada and Guddur between Santragachhi and Chennai having Two AC-2 tier, Nine Sleeper Classes, Six General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition.
Similarly, 08535/08536Hatia-Yesvantpur-Hatia Express will leave from Hatia at 09.40hrs on every Thursdays between 6th December to 27th December 2012 and will arrive at Yesvantpur22.00hrs on the following days. In the return direction, this train will leave Yesvantpur at 08.30hrs on every Saturdays between 8th December to 29th December 2012 and will arrive at Hatia at 21.30hrs on the following days.
This train will stop at Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh Road, Bolangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Elluru, Bijayawada, ongole, Nellore, Guddur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpetai, Bangarapet, and Krishnarajpuram between Hatia and Yesvantpur having Two AC-2 tier, Nine Sleeper Classes, Three General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition.
