MEGA BLOCK on 20.1.2013
Central Railway will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday 20.1.2013: -
ON DN SLOW LINE BETWEEN MATUNGA AND MULUND STATIONS
FROM 11.30 AM TO 3.30 PM
All Dn slow line services leaving Matunga from 11.05 am to 3.34 pm will be diverted on Dn fast line between Matunga and Mulund stations halting at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bandup and Mulund stations and further will be rediverted to Dn slow line proper at Mulund station.
Dn slow line services will not be available at Vidhyvihar, Kanjurmarg and Nahur stations. Passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Ghatkopar, Bhandup and Mulund in Up direction on their valid card /season tickets.
ON UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES BETWEEN MANKURD AND NERUL STATIONS
FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM
All Dn Harbour line services for Vashi/Belapur/Panvel leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.12 am to 2.45 pm will remain suspended. All Up Harbour line services leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.20 am to 3.04 pm will remain suspended.
However special locals will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus – Mankhurd and Panvel -Thane sections during the block period.
Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Trans Harbour / Main line during the block period.
Due to this block, suburban locals will be running about 15 minutes behind schedule. As a result of this, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling on foot board or roof top of locals and not to board extremely over-crowded trains.
