MEGA BLOCK on 31.3.2013
Central Railway will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday 31.3.2013.
DN FAST LINE BETWEEN MATUNGA AND MULUND STATIONS
FROM 10.15 AM TO 3.15 PM.
Dn fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 9.37 am to 2.51 pm will be diverted on Dn slow line between Matunga and Mulund stations & will halt at all stations between Sion and Mulund during the block period.
Up fast line services will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla in addition to their respective scheduled halts during the block period.
ON UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES BETWEEN MANKHURD AND NERUL STATIONS
FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM.
Dn Harbour line services to Panvel / Belapur / Vashi leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.12 am to 2.45 pm and Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Panvel / Belapur / Vashi from 10.20 am to 3.04 pm will remain suspended.
However special local trains will run on CSTM – Mankhurd and Panvel – Thane section during the block period. Harbour line passengers for Panvel / Belapur / Vashi are permitted to travel Via Trans Harbour Line / Main Line during the block period on 31.3.2013.
DUE TO THESE BLOCKS, SUBURBAN LOCALS WILL BE RUNNING ABOUT 15 MINUTES BEHIND SCHEDULE. AS A RESULT OF THIS, SUBURBAN TRAINS ARE LIKELY TO BE MORE CROWDED THAN USUAL. PASSENGERS ARE REQUESTED NOT TO TAKE ANY RISKS WHILE TRAVELLING. THEY ARE ALSO REQUESTED TO AVOID TRAVELLING on FOOT BOARD, ROOF TOP OF LOCALS AND NOT TO BOARD EXTREMELY OVER CROWDED TRAINS.
