Mega Block on 3.3.2013


Central Railway will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n Sunday 3.3.2013 : -

ON UP SLOW LINE BETWEEN VIDYAVIHAR AND BYCULLA STATIONS

FROM 11.30 AM TO 3.30 PM

Up slow line services leaving Ghatkopar from 11.07 am 3.31 pm will be diverted o­n Up fast line between Vidyavihar and Byculla halting at Kurla, Sion, Matunga, Dadar and Parel stations and further will be re-diverted o­n Up slow line proper at Byculla.

All Dn fast line services will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts. All Up fast line services will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts during the block period.

Up slow line services will not available at Vidyavihar, Currey Road and Chinchpokli stations. However passengers for Vidyavihar station are allowed to travel via Kurla and passengers for Currey Road and Chinchpokli stations are allowed to travel via Byculla in Dn direction o­n their valid card/season tickets during the block period o­n 3.3.2013 during the block period.

UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES BETWEEN PANVEL AND NERUL STATIONS

FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM.

Up Harbour line services leaving Panvel from 10.43 am to 2.58 pm and Dn Harbour line services to Panvel leaving Nerul from 10.41 am to 3.17 pm and will remain suspended between Panvel and Nerul stations.

On Trans Harbour line Up Panvel-Thane services leaving Panvel from 11.05 am to 3.19 pm and Dn Thane-Panvel services leaving Nerul 11.42 am to 2.48 pm will remain suspended between Panvel and Nerul stations.

Panvel – Andheri services will remain cancelled during the block period.

However special local trains will run o­n Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus – Nerul section o­n Harbour line and Thane –Nerul section o­n Trans Harbour line during the block period.

Due to these blocks, suburban locals will be running about 15 minutes behind schedule. As a result of this, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling o­n foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains.
