Shri. Vijay Meshram, IRSS officer of 1976 batch has taken over as Controller of Stores of Central Railway, Mumbai CST. Prior to this, he was Controller of Stores, Integral Coach Factory, Chennai.
Shri. Vijay Meshram has rich experience of 36 yrs in the field of Materials Management on Indian Railways. This is his third tenure on Central Railway, earlier worked as Chief Materials Manager and Controller of Stores. In his distinguished career, Shri Vijay Meshram has worked in various capacities on South Eastern Railway, South Central Railway, Eastern Railway & South Western Railway. He is fellow life member of Indian Railway Institute of Logistic & Materials Management (IRILMM) and also fellow life member of Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM).
He is well known in Social Field and attended various Buddhist Conferences at Thailand, Srilanka & Nepal. He is a good sportsperson, represented at Inter Railway level in Badminton, Golf & Bridge Tournaments.
