SPECIAL TRAINS

            The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of passengers.

Darbhanga – Bangalore City – Darbhanga Specials (via. Chennai Central): Train No. 05217 Darbhanga – Bangalore City special will leave Darbhanga at 16.15 hrs.o­n 30.3.2013 and arrive Chennai Central at 14.15 hrs. o­n 1.4.2013. Leaving Chennai Central at 14.40 hrs. o­n 1.4.2013, the train will arrive Bangalore City at 20.55 hrs. o­n 1.4.2013.  Train No. 05218 Bangalore City – Darbhanga special will leave Bangalore City at 10.10 hrs. o­n 2.4.2013 and arrive Chennai Central at 15.50 hrs. o­n 3.4.2013. Leaving Chennai Central at 16.15 hrs. o­n 3.4.2013, the train will arrive Darbhanga at 14.15 hrs. o­n 4.4.2013.  The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier,     5 Sleeper Class, 11 General Second Class and 2 Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches. The trains will stop at Samastipur, Barauni, Patna, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Mughalsarai, Mizapur, Chheoki, Manikpur, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Nagpur, Balharshah, Vijayawada, Gudur, Chennai Central, Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Krishnarajapuram and Bangalore Cantt.

Advance reservation for the above trains will commence o­n 27.3.2013.



AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

            The temporary augmentation of T.No.12851/12852 Bilaspur – Chennai Central – Bilaspur Express trains by o­ne AC 3-tier coach upto 24th & 25th February 2013, has been extended upto 30.6.2013 ex.Bilaspur and upto 1.7.2013 ex.Chennai Central.


ISSUE OF HALF YEARLY AND YEARLY SEASON TICKETS

            In addition to Monthly and Quarterly season tickets, Half Yearly Season Tickets and Yearly Season Tickets will be introduced w.e.f. 1.4.2013. The concessional season tickets issued to students shall be issued o­n Monthly/ Quarterly basis o­nly o­n Half yearly and Yearly Season Tickets.  Half Yearly season tickets will be chargeable at 5.4 times of Monthly Season Tickets and Yearly season tickets will be chargeable at 10.8 times of Monthly Season Tickets. This scheme is applicable for both First and Second Class tickets.

No refund shall be permissible for Half yearly and Yearly Season Tickets.

  However, the Izzat Monthly Season Tickets/ Free Monthly Season Tickets for students shall continue to be issued o­nly o­n monthly basis.
