South Western Railway has introduced train connecting Bangalore City and Nelamangala.
Announced in the Railway Budget, the Bangalore City-Nelamangala-Bangalore City Passenger was introduced with effect from April 29.
Accordingly, Train No 56579 Bangalore City-Nelamangala Passenger departs Bangalore City station at 12-20 hours and arrive at Nelamangala at 13-20 hours, on the same day.
En route, the passenger train arrives/departs at Malleswaram at 12-25/12-26 hours; Yesvantpur at 12-31/12-32 hours; Chickbanavar at 12-42/12-43 hours; and arrives/departs at Soledevarahalli Halt station at 12-48/12-49 hours.
In the return direction, Train No 56580 Nelamangala-Bangalore City Passenger departs at Nelamangala Station at 14-10 hours; and arrives at Bangalore City at 15-20 hours, on the same day.
En route, the passenger train stops at Soledevarahalli Halt at 14-34/14-35 hours; Chickbanavar at 14-38/14-39 hours; Yesvantpur at 14-50/14-52 hours; and arrives/departs at Malleswaram at 15-00/15-01 hours.
This daily passenger train has total 11 coaches, consisting of nine general second class (sitting) coaches and two second class lugage-cum-brake vans.
