Central Railway/Mumbai MEGA BLOCK o­n 5.5.2013


Central Railway will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n Sunday 5.5.2013: -
ON DN SLOW LINE BETWEEN THANE AND KALYAN STATIONS FROM 11.00 AM TO 4.00 PM.
Dn Slow / semi fast services leaving Mulund from 10.39 am to 3.48 pm will be diverted o­n Dn fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations halting at Thane and Dombivli and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule. During the block period Dn fast line services will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations and Up fast line services will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
All slow line services arriving and leaving CST between 10.00 am to 5.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
During the block period Dn slow / semi fast services will not be available at Kalva, Mumbra, Diva, Kopar and Thakurli stations. However passengers of these stations are permitted to travel via Dombivli / Kalyan stations in up direction.
ON UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES BETWEEN PANVEL AND NERUL STATIONS
FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM.
Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Panvel from 10.43 am to 2.58 pm will remain suspended between Panvel and Nerul and Dn Harbour line services from to Panvel leaving Nerul from 10.41 am to 3.17 pm will remain suspended between Nerul and Panvel.
Up Trans Harbour line services towards Thane leaving Panvel from 11.05 am to 3.19 pm will remain suspended between Panvel and Nerul and Dn Trans Harbour line services from Thane to Panvel leaving Nerul from 11.42 am to 2.48 pm will remain suspended between Nerul and Panvel.
Panvel - Andheri services will remain cancelled during the block period o­n 5.5.2013.
Also special local trains will run o­n CSTM – Nerul and Thane – Nerul section during the block period.
Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling o­n foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains.
