LAYING OF FOUNDATION STONE FOR ROAD OVER BRIDGES & INTRODUCTION OF PUDUCHERRY – TIRUPATI (WEEKLY) EXPRESS
Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways will lay the foundation stone for road over bridges in lieu of level crossings no. 39 & 43-A and flag off the inaugural special of the Puducherry – Tirupati (Weekly) Expressat 11.30 hrs. at a function to be held at Arumbarthapuram – Puducherry on Tuesday, the 17thSeptember, 2013 in the presence of Thiru. V. Narayanasamy, Hon’ble Union Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office & Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension and Thiru. N. Rangasamy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Puducherry, MP, MLAs, General Manager/Southern Railway, senior railway officials and other dignitaries.
The inaugural special will leave Puducherry at 12.15 hrs. on 17.09.2013 and arrive Tirupati at 19.25 hrs. the same day.The composition of the train will be 8 General Second Class and 2 second class-cum-luggage coaches.The train will stop at Villupuram, Tirukkovilur, Tiruvannamalai, Polur, Arni Road, Vellore Cantt., Katpadi, Chittoor and Pakala.
The regular service of T.No.17413 Tirupati – Puducherry (Weekly) Express will commence ex. Tirupati w.e.f. 21.09.2013 (Saturday) and T.No.17414 Puducherry – Tirupati (Weekly) Express will commence ex. Puducherry w.e.f. 22.09.2013 (Sunday).T.No.17413 will leave Tirupati at 21.35 hrs. on Saturdays and arrive Puducherry at 04.30 hrs. on Sundays. T.No.17414 will leave Puducherry at 08.35 hrs. on Sundays and arrive Tirupati at 16.00 hrs. the same day.
