The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) from today has started operating an exclusive token counter at the Airport Metro station of the Airport Express Line to sell tokens and smart cards for their onward journey from New Delhi station of Yellow Line (Line-2 i.e, HUDA City Centre to Jahangirpuri) to other Metro lines.
Airport Express Line passengers who wish to board the train from New Delhi Metro station (Yellow Line) for onward journey can now purchase tokens/smart cards from Airport Metro station itself. This will help in saving time and smoother travel experience for such passengers boarding the train at Airport Metro station and then traveling further on other DMRC Lines from New Delhi Metro station of Yellow Line. Earlier, they had to queue up twice for purchasing tokens/cards, first at the Airport station and then again at the New Delhi station of Yellow Line.
