DMRC completes 65% of works

Attributing the delay in road repair works to the extended rainy season, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Wednesday informed that 65 per cent of the road repair works on the stretch of metro alignment from Aluva to Kadavanthra was already complete.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the agency said it had begun attending the potholes and road-resurfacing works immediately after a direction from the Chief Minister on August 18. “Unfortunately, continuous wet spells and rain hampered the work all through. DMRC regrets for the inconvenience to the public due to non-completion of the restoration work,” it said.
