The long pending demand from Public to start Fast Passenger between Chikkamagalur-Yesvantpur-Chikkamagalur( Train Nos. 56277/56278) has been fulfilled by flagging off the Train by Ms. SHOBHA KARANDLAJE, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Udupi-Chikkamagalur)atCHIKMAGALURRAILWAY STATION today (04th November, 2014) in presence ofShri C.T. Ravi, Hon’ble Member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly, Shri Rajkumar Lal, Divisional Railway Manager of Mysore Division and other dignitaries, Officersand staff of Mysore Division of South Western Railwayand general Public of Chikkamagalur.
Ms. Shoba Karandlaje, MP(Udupi-Chikkamagalur, Shri C.T. Ravi, MLA(Chikkamagalur) spoke on the occasion.Earlier, Shri Rajkumar Lal, Divisional Railway Manger, Mysore Division welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries and officers and staff of SWR.He briefed about the features of new train and also the performance of Mysore Division of SWR.
