To avoid rush in different regular trains towards Secunderabad during Pongal, East Coast Railway has decided to run two (02) pairs of Special Trains towards Secunderabad and Guntur from Visakhapatnam.
08503 Visakhapatnam-SecunderabadSpecial train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1905hrs (07.05p.m) on every Friday between 9th January to 30thJanuary 2015 and will arrive at Secunderabad at 0750hrs (07.50a.m) on the following days. In the return Direction, 08504 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special will leave Secunderabad at 2210hrs (10.10p.m) on every Saturday between 10th January to 31stJanuary 2015 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 1035hrs (10.35a.m) on the next days during the period.
This train will run with one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, Five Sleeper Class Coaches, Five General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Warangal & Kazipet between Visakhapatnam & Secunderabad from both the directions.
08507 Visakhapatnam-Guntur Special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 0535hrs (05.35a.m) on 10th, 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th & 19thJanuary 2015 and will arrive at Guntur at 01230hrs on the same day. In the return Direction, 08508 Guntur-Visakhapatnam Special will leave Guntur at 1650hrs (04.50p.m) on 10th, 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th & 19th January 2015 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 2330hrs (11.30p.m) on the same day on the above days.
This train will run with one AC-3 tier, Five Second Class Chair Car Coaches, Eight General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada and Mangalagiri, between Visakhapatnam & Guntur from both the directions.
