South Western Railway is glad to inform that all the Four pairs of trains viz., Yesvantpur-Katra-Yesvantpur (22679/80) Weekly Premium Express, Patna-Bangalore-Patna(22353/54) Weekly premium Express, Kamakhya-Bangalore-Kamakya (22503/04) Weekly Premium Express & Tatanagar-Yesvantpur(Baiyyappanahalli)-Tatanagar(18111/12) Weekly Express, which were announced in the Railway Budget 2014-15 will be flagged off by remote by Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu,Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways in the august presence of Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister of Urban Development, Housing & Urban Poverty Allieviation & Parliamentary Affairs, Shri D.V. Sadananda Gowda, Union Minister of Law & Justice, Shri Ananth Kumar, Union Minister for Chemicals & Fertilisers, Shri Ramalinga Reddy, Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao, Karnataka State Cabinet Ministers at Bangalore City Railway Station at 1-45 p.m. (afternoon) on Thursday, the 29th January, 2015. Shri P.C. Mohan, Shri D.K. Suresh, Members of Parliament, Smt. N. Shantha Kumari, Mayor, BBMP, Shri Muni Rathna, Shri S.T. Somashekar, MLAs and Shri K. Ranganna, Dy.Mayor, BBMP & Shri T. Mallesh, Councillor, BBMP will also grace the occasion.
The Hon’ble Minister of Railways will also lay the foundation stone for construction of Foot Over Bridge at Bangalore City Railway station on the same day.
The inaugural Train Nos. 02679/02680 Yesvantpur-Katra-Yesvantpur Superfast Express Specialwill depart from Bangalore City Station at 14-20 hrs. on Thursday, 29thJanuary, 2015 and reach Katra at 23-00 hrs. on Saturday. In the return direction, Train No.02680 Katra-Yesvantpur Superfast Inaugural Special will depart from Katra at 06-30 hrs. on Sunday, 01stFebruary, 2015 and arrive at Yesvantpur at 15-00 hrs. on Tuesday, the 03rdFebruary, 2015.
En route, the inaugural Superfast Express Special will have commercial stoppage at Bellary, Secunderabad, Nagpur, Jhansi & New Delhi in both the directions. This Superfast Inaugural Special will have total 11 coaches, consisting of one 2-tier AC coach, one 3-tier AC coach, Six Second Class Sleepers, Two Second Class luggage-cum-brake Vans and a Pantry car.

In the return direction, Train No. 22354 Bangalore Cantt-Patna Premium Superfast Express Special will depart at Bangalore Cantt. at 15-30 hrs., on Sunday, 01st February, 2015 and arrive at Patna at 09-45 hrs. on Tuesday, the 03rd February, 2015(one Trip only).

From Tatanagar, it will run as Special train with Train No.08111 and will run on open path and timings with the stoppages of Train No.18111 as mentioned below.
