As a special case, 60% concession on the basic fare of Sleeper Class and General Second Class has been granted to the eligible students for travel from any part of the Country to North Eastern States including New Jalpaiguri. This concession will be available up to 14th December, 2015, on the tours organised by running special trains / coaches by Indian Railways Catering & Tourism Corporation. This concession will not be admissible on the tour packages of IRCTC, operated as chartered trains with separate fare structure.
Students, who desire to avail this concession, are required to submit the prescribed certificate issued by the Head of the recognised School/College/Institution at the time of booking. Other terms and conditions as regards eligibility of students and others will be the same as applicable in the normal trains services as per existing rules.
