Western Railway has extended the facility of Mobile Ticketing for the suburban commuters at five more stations i.e. Vasai Road, Virar, Nallasopara, Malad and Kandivali. With this, now this facility is available at ten suburban stations of Western Railway in Mumbai.
This facility can be availed by registering one's Mobile Number at http://utsonmobile.indianrail.gov.in. Ticket can be book online and can be printed on ATVM machines at these stations with the help of your Mobile No. and special booking ID, which is sent through SMS.
This facility has been introduced to reduce queues and save time of the commuters. It is already available at Churchgate, Mumbai Central, Dadar, Andheri and Borivali. R wallet can be recharged at these 10 stations.
