Trans - Harbour line services were temporarily suspended from 05.50 hrs to 10.00 hrs on 18.6.2015 due to entanglement of TRT machine part between sleeper and rail on Down Trans-Harbour line between Thane and Airoli stations. Services on this section were restored at 10.00 hrs.
Passengers of Trans-Harbour line were permitted to travel on Mail / Harbour line via Kurla.
During this period, continuous announcements were made at the stations for the information of the passengers including social media.
Arrangement of additional bus services from Thane Cidco bus stand and Vandana Talkies bus stand to Vashi were made with the help of Thane Municipal Transport (TMT) for the benefit of the passengers. Shuttle services were run between Nerul and Panvel.
However services on Main line and Harbour line were running normal.
