ANCELLATION/DIVERSION OF TRAINS DUE TO NON-INTERLOCKED WORKING AT JAMMU TAWI STATION YARD
IN CONNECTION WITH PANEL INSTALLATION AND DOUBLING WORK IN YARD FROM 18.01.2016 to 23.01.2016
Northern Railway is presently undertaking the Non- Interlocking working at Jammu Tawi station Yard in connection with panel installation at East Cabin of Jammu Tawi alongwith doubling work in the station. This traffic facility upgradation is expected to result in higher operational capabilities and flexibility.
Owing to the above works, there will be traffic blocks from 18.01.2016 to 23.01.2016 respectively.As a result the following trains will remain short-terminated/regulated on the dates denoted against each as per the following programme:
REGULATION OF TRAINS on 18.01.2016( MONDAY): The following trains whose journey commencing on 16.01.2016 from respective originating stations shall be regulated enroute on the Ambala-Firozpur rail sections as under:
·The 13151 Kolkata-Jammu Tawi Express shall be regulated for two hours, the 11077 Pune-Jhelum Express shall be regulated 45 minutes, the 12331 Howrah-Jammu Tawi Himgiri Express shall be regulated for 1 hr 25 minutes and the 16031 Chennai Central- Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra shall be regulated for fifty minutes.
CANCELLATION OF TRAINS on 20.01.2016( THURSDAY):
·The 19805/06 Kota-Udhampur-Kota Express (journey commencing on 20.01.2016) shall remain cancelled in both directions
CANCELLATION OF TRAINS on 21.01.2016( THURSDAY): The following trains whose journey from respective originating stations commences on 21.01.2016 viz.
·The 74909/10 Pathankot-Udhampur-Pathankot DEMU (journey commencing on 21.01.2016, the 74906/07 Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra –Jammu Tawi DEMU(journey commencing on 21.01.2016) and the 04992/91 Jammu Tawi- Pathankot DEMU (journey commencing on 21.01.2016)shall remain cancelled in both directions.
SHORT TERMINATION OF TRAINS on 21.01.2016( THURSDAY)
·The19225 Bhatinda-Jammu Tawi express train (journey commencing on 20.01.2016) will be short-terminated at Pathankot and in the return direction, the 19224 Jammu Tawi-Bhatinda (journey commencing on 21.01.2016)Express will originate from Pathankot instead of Jammu Tawi.
·The18101 Tata Nagar-Jammu Tawi Muri Express train(journey commencing on 19.01.2016) will be short-terminated at Pathankot
·The 12469 Kanpur Central- Jammu Tawi Express train (journey commencing on 20.01.2016)will be short-terminated at Bari Bhraman station.

·The 12331 Howrah-Jammu Tawi Himgiri Express(journey commencing on 19.01.2016) shall be regulated for 5 hours, the 16687 Mangalore Central-Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra Navyug Express (journey commencing on 18.01.2016) shall be regulated for 4 hours 50 minutes, the 12475 Hapa- Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra (journey commencing on 19.01.2016) shall be regulated for 2 hours 40 minutes and the 12919 Indore-Jammu Tawi Malwa Express trains (journey commencing on 20.01.2016) shall be regulated for one hour 50 minutes enroute

· The 16688 Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra-Manglore Central/Trivandrum Navyug Express shall be re-scheduled to depart from Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra at 00.55 a.m. on 22.01.2016 instead of 09.55 p.m. on 21.01.2016.

·The 12337 Varanasi- Jammu Tawi Begumpura Express train (journey commencing on 21.01.2016)will be short-terminated at Bari Bhraman station, while in the return direction the 12338 Jammu Tawi-Varanasi Begumpura Express (journey commencing on 22.01.2016) shall originate from Bari Bhraman station instead of Jammu Tawi station.

·The 15653 Guwahati- Jammu Tawi Amarnath Express(journey commencing on 20.01.2016) shall be regulated for five hours, the 16031 Chennai Central- Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra (journey commencing on 20.01.2016)shall be regulated for five hours fifty minutes, 12471 Bandra T- Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra (journey commencing on 21.01.2016) shall be regulated for 2 hours 40 minutes and the 12919 Indore-Jammu Tawi Malwa Express trains (journey commencing on 21.01.2016) shall be regulated for one hour 50 minutes enroute on the Delhi-Ambala-Firozpur section on 22.01.2016
