Northern Railway will undertake the construction work of 1 Low Height Subways (LHS) at Level Crossing Nos. C-46 between Kaithal-Pehowa Road on Kurukshetra.-Narwana section of Delhi Division on 17.01.2016.

The provision of LHS in lieu of existing level crossings has manifold advantages like: safe and uninterrupted passage to the road vehicles/pedestrians across the railway track, increase in safety to both train operations and road users, elimination of manpower used for manning level crossings. Also this is economical and faster in execution and commissioning.
Due to aforesaid traffic block, there will be one traffic block for the duration of 5 hours 30 minutes from 09.10 a.m. to 02.40 p.m. on 17.01.2016. As a result the following trains scheduled to run through the section during the period of block will Short Terminate/Short Originate and partially cancelled as under:
Short Termination/Short Origination Of Trains
·The 54040 Jind-Kurukshetra Passenger Train (Jind- Narwana-Kurukshetra) will be short terminated at Kaithal and will be short originated as 54039( Kurukshetra – Narwana –Jind) from Kaithal to Jind (Schedule Departure 01.42 p.m.) . The Train will remain partially cancelled between Kaithal - Kurukshetra - Kaithalon 17.01.2016.
Speed restriction of 20 km ph will be imposed one day in advance for pre-block activities.
