Change in Pattern of train services o­n Tiruchchirapalli – Villupuram section

Due to line block / power block for diversion of track o­n a newly laid Broad Gauge track between Tiruvennainallur Road – Kandambakkam with the doubling o­n Tiruchchirapalli – Villupuram section, the following changes will be made in train services from 09.05.2016 to 11.05.2016. 

Partial Cancellation of trains:
Train Nos.56706/56705 Madurai – Villupuram – Madurai passenger trains will bepartially cancelled between Vriddhachalam and Villupuram o­n 09.05.2016 (Monday) and 10.05.2016 (Tuesday).
Trains rescheduled
T.No.12605 Chennai Egmore – Karaikkudi Junction Pallavan Express scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 15.45 hrs. o­n 09.05.2016 is rescheduled to leave at 16.45 hrs.
Trains diverted
1)T.No.12636 Madurai – Chennai Egmore Vaigai Express will be diverted via. Vridhachalam Junction – Cuddalore Port Junction – Villupuram o­n 09.05.2016 and arrive at Villupuram late by 67 minutes.
2)T.No.16127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Express will be diverted via. Villupuram – Cuddalore Port Junction – Vridhachalam Junction o­n 09.05.2016 and arrive at Tiruchchirapalli Junction late by 50 minutes.
Trains o­n the diverted route will run as per the following timings o­n 09.05.2016.
