Consequent to the train accident at Pattabiram on 5th May 2016, all scheduled EMU train services between Moore Market Complex/Chennai Beach and Avadi/Tiruvallur/ Arakkonam/Tiruttani were suspended. Now, following restoration of two lines, EMU train services will be run with skeleton services every one hour between Moore Market Complex/Chennai Beach and Arakkonam till restoration of full train services.
However, Train services between Moore Market Complex/Chennai Beach and Gummidipoondi/Sullurpetta will be normal service.
