To clear extra rush of passengers during summer, South Eastern Railway has decided to run 4 pairs of Weekly Summer Specials between Howrah-Puri-Howrah during the period from 11.5.16 to 1.6.16
02277 Howrah-Puri Weekly Summer Special leaving Howrah every Wednesday at 14:25 hours will reach Puri at 22:00 hours, the same day. In the opposite direction, 02278 Puri-Howrah train leaving Puri every Wednesday at 05:45 hours will arrive Howrah at 13:40 hours, the same day. The Special trains will have 1 First AC Chair Car and 11 AC Chair Car coaches and will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar between Howrah and Puri.
With this, SER has planned to run 16 pairs of Weekly Summer special trains between Howrah-Puri, Santragachi-Puri and Howrah-Bhubaneswar during the period from 06.5.2016 to 25.6.2016
