Shoranur-Charvattur Electrified section was dedicated to the nation today by Hon'ble Union Minister of Railways Shri Suresh Prabhu

The minister dedicated 224 Km long electrified section between Shoranur and Chervattur through video conferencing from Ernakulam South Junction Railway station.
Further, the minister dedicated/inaugurated a host of projects viz.., a new station building at Nilambur Road (through video conferencing) , Emergency Medical Care Center and other passenger amenities at Ernakulam South Junction
