Eastern Railway will run 28 Suburban Puja Special trains including 8 in different sections of Howrah division and 20 in Sealdah division for the convenience of the visitors.
In Howrah Division, 8 (eight) Suburban Puja Special trains will run in the nights of Saptami/Astami (8/9.10.2016), Astami/Navami (9/10.10.2016), Navami/Dashami (10/11.10.2016), one pair each between Howrah & Barddhaman (via-Main), Howrah & Bandel, Howrah & Barddhaman (via-Chord) and Seoraphuli & Tarakeswar stations. The Special trains will stop at all stations enroute.

Beside, on 8.10.2016 (Saptami), 9.10.2016 (Astami), 10.10.2016 (Navami), 11.10.2016 (Dashami) & 15.10.2016 (Lakshmi Puja day) , EMU locals in Howrah division will follow Sunday schedule upto 15:00 hrs. and after 15:00 hrs. suburban EMU services in Howrah division will run as on regular weekdays for the convenience of the passengers. Moreover, Sunday exempted 37220 Bandel-Howrah local leaving Bandel at 5:40 hrs. will also run as on normal weekdays.

Sealdah-Ranaghat, Sealdah-Bangaon, Sealdah-Dankuni, Ranaghat-Bangaon, Sealdah (South)-BudgeBudge , Sealdah (South) & Baruipur and Sealdah & Naihati sections in the nights of Panchami/Sasthi (6/7.10.16), Sasthi/Saptami (7/8.10.16), Saptami/Asthami (8/9.10.16), Astami/Navami (9/10.10.16) & Nabami/Dashami (10/11.10.16).
