PRESS RELEASE -2 CANCELLATION/DIVERSION /SHORT TERMINATION/SHORT ORIGINATION OF TRAINS DUE TO DERAILMENT OF 11078 JAMMU TAWI-PUNE JHELUM EXPRESS TRAIN

Due to derailment of the 11078 Jammu Tawi-Pune Jhelum Express train between Phillor and Ladowal stations o­n Jalandhar-Ludhiana section of Ferozepur Division of Northern Railway today, the following trains have been cancelled/diverted/short terminated/short originate as under:-

·The 12412 Amritsar-Chandigarh Express.

·The 12053 Haridwar- Amritsar Jan Shatabdi Express.

·The 12242/12241 Amritsar-Chandigarh-Amritsar Express.

·The 12030 Amritsar-New Delhi Shatabdi Express.

DIVERSION OF TRAINS



·The 12332 Jammu Tawi – Howrah Himgiri Express journey commencing o­n 3.10.16 has been diverted to run via Jalandhar City – Ferozpur – Bathinda – Ambala.

·The 12920 Jammu Tawi – Indore Malwa Express journey commencing o­n 4.10.16 will be diverted to run via Jalandhar City – Ferozpur – Bathinda – Jind.

·The 12472 Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra – Bandra Trms. Swaraj Express journey commencing o­n 4.10.16 will be diverted to run via Jalandhar City – Ferozpur – Bathinda – Jind.

·The 12587 Gorakhpur – Jammu Tawi Amarnath Express journey commencing o­n 3.10.16 will be diverted to run via Ludhiana - Ferozpur – Jammu Tawi.

·The 12238 Jammu Tawi – Varanasi Begampura Express journey commencing o­n 4.10.16 will short originate from Ludhiana.

·The 13006 Amritsar-Howrah Mail journey commencing o­n 4.10.16 will short originate from Ambala.
