To clear extra rush of passengers during the winter season for popular tourist destination,it has been decided to run eight pairs of Superfast Specials between Santragachi-Puri-Santragachi during the period from 8/12/16 to 27/01/17.
The Special Train (02809) leaving Santragachi every Thursday at 19:00 hours will reach Puri at 03:20 hours the next day. In the opposite direction, the Special Train (02810) will leave Puri every Fridayat 13:30 hours arriving Santragachi at 22:15 hours the same day.
The Special trains will have one AC-2 Tier, four AC 3 Tier and twelve Sleeper Class coaches. The train will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road between Santragachi and Puri.
