DISCOUNT/REBATE ON FARES OF VACANT BERTHS IN RAJDHANI / SHATABDI / DURONTO TRAINS

Discount/Rebate o­n vacant berths has been introduced in Rajdhani/ Shatabdi/ Duronto trains with effect from 15.12.2016 to 31.5.2017 o­n a trial basis.Vacant berths available after preparation of charts will be sold at a 10% discount over the last ticket sold prior to charting. From 9.9.2016 o­nwards, Rajdhani/Shatabdi/Duronto tickets are being sold o­n the flexi fare system. These tickets will be available o­n current counters as well as through “E” ticketing. Passengers can buy these tickest through current counters or through IRCTC also upto 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of the train.
