Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister of Railways, Govt of India, will flag off the inaugural service of Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Weekly Express in a function to be held at Bandra Terminus station, o¬n Sunday, 18th December, 2016 at 12.30 hours. He will also dedicate & inaugurate various passenger amenities on Western & Central Railway on this occasion.
The train, in its inaugural service, will run as special train with the Train No. 05068 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Special and will depart from Bandra Terminus on Sunday, 18th December, 2016 and reach Gorakhpur on Tuesday, 20th December, 2016 (third day). The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Udhna, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi Jn., Habibganj, Vidisha, Jhansi Jn., Orai, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda Jn., Balrampur, Jharkhandi, Tulsipur, Barhni, Shohratgarh, Naugarh and Anandnagar stations in both directions.
The train will have AC III Tier, II Sleeper and General Second Class coaches.
As a regular service, Train No. 15068 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Weekly Express will depart from Bandra Terminus on every Friday. Similarly, in return direction, Train No. 15067 Gorakhpur - Bandra Terminus Weekly Express will depart from Gorakhpur on every Wednesday.
The booking for the inaugural run of Train no. 05068 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Special Express will start on 17th December, 2016.
