New AC Double Decker Superfast Train between Tirupati and Visakhapatnam
Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister of Railways will flag off Tirupati-Visakhapatnam AC Double Decker Superfast Train on 30th December, 2016.
Inaugural run of Tirupati-Visakhapatnam AC Double Decker Superfast Train:
Train No. 02708 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam AC Double Decker Superfast inaugural special train will depart Tirupati at 10:30 hrs on 30th December, 2016 (Friday) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 00:10 hrs on the next day.
Visakhapatnam-Tirupati AC Double Decker Superfast Special Train :
Train No.02707 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati AC Double Decker Superfast special train will depart Visakhapatnam at 01:00 hrs on 31st December, 2016 (Saturday) and arrive Tirupati at 15:30 hrs on the same day.
Regular service of Train No. 22708/22707 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Tri-Weekly AC Double Decker Superfast Train:
The regular services will commence from Tirupati on 1st January, 2017 and from Visakhapatnam on 2nd January, 2017.
Accordingly, Train No. 22708 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Tri-Weekly AC Double Decker Superfast Train will depart Tirupati at 21:50 hrs on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays, arrive/depart Vijayawada at 04:50/05:00 hrs and arrive Visakhapatnam at 11:00 hrs on the next day.
In the opposite direction, Train No.22707 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Tri-Weekly AC Double Decker Superfast Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 22:25 hrs on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arrive/depart Vijayawada at 04:00/04:15 hrs on the next day and arrive Tirupati at 11:35 hrs.
Enroute, these trains will stop at Renigunta, Sri Kalahasti, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Chirala, Tenali, New Guntur, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both directions.
These trains Consists of 10 coaches, eight AC Chair Car and two Power car coaches.
