The rush of tourists to Araku, East Coast Railway decided to run passenger special trains between Visakhapatnam and Araku on 24th, 25th and 31st December-2016 and on 1st January-2017 with the following schedule.
The train No.08511 Visakhapatnam-Araku passenger special train will leave Visakhapatnam on Saturday ( 24-12-2016 and 31-12-2016) and Sunday (25-12-2016 and on 01-01-2017) at 08.00hrs which will reach Araku at 11.50hrs on the same day.
In return direction the train No o8512 Araku-Visakhapatnam passenger special train will leave Araku on Saturday ( 24-12-2016 and 31-12-2016) and Sunday (25-12-2016 and on 01-01-2017) at 12-45hrs and will reach Visakhapatnam on the same day at 16.20hrs.
These pair of trains have stoppages at Simhachalam, Kottavalasa, S.Kota and Borraguhalu between Visakhapatnam and Araku. These pair of trains comprises of Eight General Second class and Two second class sitting cum luggage coaches.
