Details of Accident
• Train No 12987 Sealdah-Ajmer express derailed at Rura Station on Kanpur -Tund la section of
North Centra l Railway in Kanpur dehat district at 0522 hrs.
• 15 coaches including ( 13 sleeper ie 51-513 coaches and two general coaches derailed)
• Accident Relit Train and Accident Relief Mmedical Van from Allahabad, kanpur and Tundla rushed
to site. Senior officers including DRM/AIIahabad and GM NCR also left for site.

Diversion and Cancellation
Due to Derailment of 13 GSCN+ 2 GS= 15 coaches of 12987 (SDAH-AII) Sealdah-Ajmer at 0522 hours, blocked UP and DN both lines following diversion, cancellation and short t ermination is planned-
