To clear extra rush of passengers, South Eastern Railway has decided to run thirty pairs of Special trains toward Puri and New Jalpaiguri during the period from 03/03/17 to 25/06/17. Out of 30 pairs, 17 pairs weekly Tatkal Special will run between Santragachi-Puri-Santragachi and 13 pairs weekly special will run between Santragachi-New Jalpaiguri-Santragachi.
08404/08403 Santragachi-Puri-Santragachi Weekly Tatkal Special (17 Pairs)
The Special Train (08404) leaving Santragachi every Saturday at 19:10 hrs will reach Puri at 04:00 hrs the next day. In the opposite direction, the Special Train (08403) will leave Puri every Fridayat 21:25 hrs arriving Santragachi at 06:45 hrs the next day. This train will run from 03.03.17 to 24.06.17.
The Special trains will have one AC-2 Tier, three AC 3 Tier, ten Sleeper Class and four General Second Class coaches. The train will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road between Santragachi and Puri.
08047/08048 Santragachi-New Jalpaiguri-Santragachi Special (13 Pairs)
The Special Train (08047) leaving Santragachi every Sunday at 10:25 hrs will reach New Jalpaiguri at 20:55 hrs on the same day. In the opposite direction, the Special Train (08048) will leave New Jalpaiguri every Sundayat 23:55 hrs arriving Santragachi at 11:15 hrs the next day.
The Special trains will have one AC-2 Tier, three AC 3 Tier, nine Sleeper Class and two General Second Class coaches. The train will have stoppages at Barddhman, Rampurhat, Malda, Barsoi, Kishanganj and Alubari Road between Santragachi and New Jalpaiguri. This train will run from 02.04.17 to 25.06.17.
08404/08403 Santragachi-Puri-Santragachi Weekly Tatkal Special (17 Pairs)
The Special Train (08404) leaving Santragachi every Saturday at 19:10 hrs will reach Puri at 04:00 hrs the next day.
